Meet our Publishers
Publishing The Country Register has given Linda the opportunity to stay home and have time with the three children that make up the family today. Her schedule is flexible to the point that she can run for children, go on school trips with them and be there when they are home. As the children have grown there have been little jobs for them along the way.
As you can see in the photo taken in the office on an evening organization party in August, older daughter Nicole did a great job of unplugging the many cords and connections to the Mac tower so it and all the cords could come off the desk top and go down on the floor to free up some work space. Nicole has other responsible jobs she does on a regular basis for the business. That evening Danielle and Marcus were given the important job of never, never taking something out of the office ever again such as the scissors, tape, pens, stapler, and all the other fun enticements in an office!

After nearly ten years of publishing Linda and Brian are still very excited about their edition of The Country Register. They have become good friends with the publishers of The Country Register of Wisconsin, Peg and Den Buchholtz and live close enough to meet for a meal together from time to time throughout the year. It was Peg and Den's son Jeremy who sold the Minnesota paper to them.
Brian and Linda are shown here at the Anderson House in Wabasha, Minnesota where they were dining out with Peg and Den and Barbara Floyd, founder of The Country Register. Barbara was born and raised in Minnesota was on her way to Breckenridge for her 50th class reunion. She enjoyed a night with the Lynches and seeing the southern part of the state while visiting specialty shops with Linda for a whole day before going to spend a night in Wisconsin with Peg and Den.
2008 will mark the 20th Anniversary of the beginning of The Country Register.
